Chapter 18 - Phenomenal use of episodic memory: en masse control, conformity, and exploitation.

Constant environmental change affects how humans engage and forage for stimuli. Instability, from either man or nature, can disrupt data processing. Shifts in climate can also fragment or alter it. This includes social and geo-engineering.

Confirmed (firm), consistent stimuli or methodical stimuli aid in long-term (LT) memory recall. While unconfirmed (whimsical) phenomena-based stimuli or episodic stimuli impede long-term (LT) memory recall.

Control depends on paralyzing people. One tactic is usury (or riba). The aim is to make subjects surrender. Every action seeks to manipulate and immobilize. Crippling individuals through debt. Throughout history, people have used this tactic, from ancient Rome to modern banking. The ultimate goal of capitulation is to break the subject's spirit, forcing them to surrender to the controller's demands. Each action aims to manipulate and immobilize. It will slowly drain the person's energy and willpower. One can see this in the way debt enslaves people, making them feel hopeless and trapped. For instance, the ancient Romans would often use debt to control their subjects, forcing them to work as bonded laborers to pay off their debts.

Like a skilled puppeteer, the controller uses usury to control a person's life, dictating their every move. This manipulation can be so subtle that the individual may not realize they are being controlled. It's like someone slowly boiling a frog in water.

Once they capitulate, they are easier to manipulate. The controller can then dictate their decisions, eroding their autonomy.

"I fear our revolution will have been in vain if a Virginia farmer is to be held in hock to a New York stock jobber, who in turn is in hock to a London banker. The opportunities for avarice and corruption would certainly prove irresistible."

Thomas Jefferson

Where is Golgotha?

Golgotha, or "Calvary," is just outside the Damascus Gate. It overlooks the main east-west road north of Old Jerusalem. The Romans preferred such locations for crucifying rebels. It allowed them to display their brutal work to passing crowds and deter others from rebelling against Rome.

4:157 An-Nisaa

Waqawlihim inna qatalna almaseeha AAeesa ibna maryama rasoola Allahi wama qataloohu wama salaboohu walakin shubbiha lahum wainna allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi lafee shakkin minhu ma lahum bihi min AAilmin illa ittibaAAa aththanni wama qataloohu yaqeena

And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Isa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]:

The location of Golgatha means that the crucifixion of Isa (Jesus) took place with a skull-faced cliff in the background. They placed a cross at the bottom of this cliff, at ground level, not on top of it. As explained, the Romans crucified people on major roads, not on hilltops. They wanted the masses to see the victims' gory end up close, not from afar. Access to the top of this cliff is challenging from Old Jerusalem and requires a detour that takes an excessive amount of time. Further proof exists about whether the crucifixion narrative is accurate.

How capitulation works EnMass

Before the C-19 outbreak and lockdown, Chinese biotech firms gained access to American DNA data through PCR test sales. Personal genetic information circulated overseas via control systems. The biological profiles of US citizens were at risk of compromise. Privacy concerns mounted as sensitive data crossed borders. The C-19 crisis heightened concerns over biotech deals and national security.

Gathering biometric data strengthens ID systems. This data is crucial for verification, ensuring accurate identification. Yet, it raises privacy concerns for foreign companies regarding Americans.

In 2019 China took measures to ensure the Uighurs, a predominantly Muslim group, were subservient to the Communist Party. A crucial part of this campaign, according to human rights groups and Uighur activists, is collecting genetic material. They claim that authorities could use a complete DNA database to track down any Uighurs who refuse to conform. China has used Thermo Fisher's equipment to map its citizens' genes, as shown in five Ministry of Public Security patent filings. The company has also sold equipment to the authorities in Xinjiang, where the campaign to control the Uighurs has been most intense. At least some of this equipment was meant for police use. Thermo Fisher faced criticism from Senator Marco Rubio, a Florida Republican. He and others urged the Commerce Department to ban U.S. firms from selling surveillance tech to China.

Thermo Fisher announced it would no longer sell its equipment in Xinjiang, a move it claimed was in line with its values, ethics code, and policies. "We are the world leader in serving science. We know our customers may use our products in ways we can't predict," the company stated. Sophie Richardson, of Human Rights Watch, stressed the importance of the step. She was hopeful they would apply the same principles to their business across China. Also, that other companies would review their sales and operations in Xinjiang.""1

C-19 lockdown swept the plight of Uighur Muslims in China under the rug. These tactics left the door open for their use against Palestine by the Israeli-led government in response to the October 7, 2023, attacks. And next overreaching ground assaults on civilians in Lebanon with threats to the entire Middle East by Netanyahu.

People devalue others to dominate them.

Let's delve into the world of bank mortgages, which can be seen as offerings to a system that perpetuates a certain way of life. Mortgages symbolize shared reasoning and trust between lenders and borrowers in buying property. They showcase the American dream of homeownership. This dream, however, is linked to white privilege. This idea is deeply ingrained in American society.

The US Constitution, particularly the Fourth and Fifth amendments, unintentionally perpetuate this narrative. The Fourth Amendment bans unreasonable searches and seizures. But, the Supreme Court's view of "unreasonable" has changed over time. Although some searches require warrants, others do not. This amendment has a history of unfair treatment toward people of color. After 9/11 attacks, Congress passed laws to use information in terrorism investigations. They mainly targeted Arab-based people of color labeled as terrorists. The inconsistent application of this amendment has led to its recent misuse, often linked to the keyword terrorism. This erosion of a reasonable expectation of privacy for Americans is a real concern. For the past 25 years, society has used the term terrorism to dismiss the rights of some groups, especially people of color in white societies. This could lead to death without investigation or genocide. This is a long-standing issue in human society.

Name-calling is the first law of propaganda. Give the target a degrading or dismissive label, and you can get away with almost anything. The U.S. has a history of using derogatory terms like nigger, spic, pollock, kike, and wetback. In scripture, there's the example of Shaitan (the devil) showing contempt for Adam (man).

7:12 Al-A'raaf

Qala ma manaAAaka alla tasjuda ith amartuka qala ana khayrun minhu khalaqtanee min narin wakhalaqtahu min teen

(Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Iblis said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay."

Bank mortgages have historically favored white people. They helped them build wealth and pass it down to their descendants. In the mid-20th century, the FHA's policies prohibited people of color from purchasing homes in predominantly white neighborhoods. This widened the racial wealth gap. This has let white families use their inherited wealth. They can now access better education, healthcare, and jobs. This has helped them stay on top of society.

Ethnic groups have long been denied essential benefits like education and healthcare. This exclusion has fueled a cycle of poverty and inequality, trapping generations in a struggle to make ends meet. The Native American community has faced centuries of marginalization. Their reservations (communities) lack basic infrastructure and opportunities. This has caused poverty rates to be much higher than the national average. The African American community has been hit hard. Ongoing job and education discrimination limits their escape from poverty. The American dream, a symbol of freedom and prosperity, is now a cruel illusion. For many, it is an unattainable goal, always out of reach.

Sahar Aziz, a law professor at Rutgers University Law School and author of The Racial Muslim: When Racism Quashes Religious Freedom. "They argued they were white in court because the only immigrants that could naturalize to become U.S. citizens had to be found white by law," she says. Anti-Black racism in the media and other parts of U.S. society, Aziz adds, has helped drive many immigrants from around the world to try to "disassociate themselves from Blackness and try to associate as close to whiteness as possible.” 2

In the years to come, Arab Americans may face similar disproportionate effects due to capitulation. These groups share a common thread. They are people of color or brown-skinned, with non-white features. This makes them targets for discrimination, degradation, or dismissal.

Assimilation takes many forms

Adult Children of Alcoholics

ACOAs, or adult children of alcoholics, often grow up in chaos. This leaves them with deep feelings of being unloved and neglected. This emotional abandonment can cause lasting loneliness and low self-worth. ACOAs often blame themselves for their family troubles. They believe that if they did something differently, they could fix things. But, this burden of responsibility can haunt them into adulthood. It can make them feel inept, broken or flawed. Leaving them open to manipulative personalities.

Past failures, real or perceived, can breed a deep fear of future failures. This makes ACOAs risk-averse and hesitant to take bold actions. As adults, if they overcome these barriers and face life challenges. The constant blocking of goals by others can also deter them. As children, a lack of control can create a hunger for it in adulthood. This may lead to micromanaging their lives and those around them. And if unchecked, can lead to narcissism. Compulsive behaviors, like overachieving, overreaching, or people-pleasing, can emerge as coping mechanisms. They provide a temporary escape from deep fears and defiance. These patterns, born in their turbulent childhood homes, can shape their adult lives. They influence their relationships, careers, and self-worth.

Influence is only effective if wanted

College football's essence fades as networks flood games with ads. In 2023, commercial breaks surged, disrupting the flow and fan experience. These ads fuel lucrative conference deals and player payments, but at what cost? The sport's soul slowly erodes, buried under an avalanche of marketing. Fans yearn for uninterrupted action, yet find themselves captive to endless pitches. As revenues soar, the game itself suffers, leaving many to wonder: Has big money hijacked another beloved tradition?

The U.S. thrives on network commercial advertising, also known as Ad Culture. Networks profile sports fans to target them with ads. By changing game rules to create more breaks, networks can sell more ad slots. Is this a form of commercial priming or even brainwashing?

Samira Cortes noted, A walk around your neighborhood reveals a surprising truth: ads are everywhere. They're on buildings, sidewalks, and online - you can't escape them. Our society is built on consumerism, making us believe we need lots of stuff to get by. But this isn't the truth - it's a kind of brainwashing. Money makes the world go round, driving our desires. We long for wealth, dreaming of luxury and providing for our loved ones. Ads take advantage of this, using clever tricks to influence our subconscious. They create positive feelings, affecting our behavior over time. Think of an actor smiling at a product. Our mirror neurons fire, making us want to feel their joy too. We think we're immune, but we're easily influenced. This consumerist lifestyle is like an addiction, programmed into us from a young age. We've been tricked into thinking we need more, always more. But do we really? Maybe it's time to question the constant stream of ads and our own shopping habits. ~Source

Wolfgang Stroebe discovered, they (advertisements) hold no power unless they relate to our goals or instincts.3

Priming can actually have the opposite effect on your prospects. If you have negative feelings about a feature because of a bad experience, it can be primed. This means you may end up caring about something you don't need or really care about, even if it was accidental or intentional.4 Short term thinking and buyers remorse are examples of this effect.

Sensory Data Management of Inauthentic Stimuli (Pointlessness)

Commercials rarely resonate with our senses, leaving us feeling disrupted and annoyed. Ads, with their invasive, unwelcome appeals, disrupt our homeostasis. It's our delicate balance of emotions and physiology. It's just another lucrative opportunity for entrepreneurs to cash in. They want to sell ad space to companies and gamers. They ignore the ads' negative impact on viewers' experiences. As a result, companies end up antagonizing their customers, who feel besieged by the constant stream of ads. The networks that control ad slots have hijacked the gaming experience, turning it into a platform for exploitation. It's a blatant manipulation of captive audiences, taking advantage of people's passion for games. For instance, during the Super Bowl, a 30-second ad slot can cost up to $5 million, demonstrating the immense revenue generated by these ads. Also, the nonstop commercials can tire viewers. Fans may then change the channel or skip the games. This could hurt the sport's popularity.

Coping, Surviving, and Emotional Harmony

Assimilation like any form of learning can be highly stressful and traumatic. (author)
